Student Council

The goal of student council is two-fold: first, we act as a liaison between the students and school administration. The second goal of student council is service. We organize and fund several efforts each year to enhance our school and community.

St. Andrew student council consists of (8) sixth through eighth grade students. This includes our student body president, vice president, two eighth grade representatives, two seventh grade representatives, and two sixth grade representatives. Our president and vice president are elected after a two month process of campaigning, culminating in a “political convention” where the junior high students vote and a winner is announced. The representatives are elected by their homeroom classmates.
